The hands on and proven techniques for bodywork to support relaxation and grounding with your horse are fabulous. The groundwork, wraps, and flower essences are explained so that any horse owner will know how to implement the techniques. The idea of doing acupressure with my horses seems overwhelming, but we are given just a few key spots to try. I am not finished with the course but HIGHLY recommend it for anyone wanting to help a sensitive horse. This is a horse owners toolkit. even if your horse is not sensitive! There will be times where they get upset, and you will know what to do to help.

I have really enjoyed The Nervous Horse Course and it has helped both me and my horses to find a connection and understanding at a deep level. Whilst it is a course for the horse at first glance I also found tremendous peace and serenity in working my way through the modules and then applying them not only to my horse but also to myself. Thank you so much Kathleen for the thought and care that has gone into your course. I know my horses and I shall continue to grow and benefit from this wonderful course .

This chapter was good for me and my horse. My mare used to go by cows without incident until one day a curious herd rushed toward the fence and she froze...a statue. I could feel her heart pounding through her right up to the top of my head! I now realize that all the times she passed cows she wasn't as comfortable as she appeared and those infrequent and apparently "calm and accepting" incidents eventually built up into a final fright. I had to walk her home five miles because she was so agitated. I blamed myself for weeks trying to figure out my gaps and her lack of trust in me.
